PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Booking.com appointed me as a designer to work on their forthcoming office expansion project. The chosen office space adheres to healthy working concepts, with features such as fresh air ventilation systems, passive heating and cooling technology, and natural light maximisation. I am responsible with not only achieving Booking.com's specifications mentioned below, but also designing a design that encourages a healthy workplace environment, assuring optimal productivity for their team. South Africa and all of its amazing cultures should be considered and included into the design solution.
DESIGN SOLUTION
The final design solution is an office space for Booking.com that is a healthy workspace. the culture of South Africa was integrated into the design through patterns, art pieces, baskets, and The map of South Africa in the Booking.com yellow. The booking.com colours are used in the design in various places such as the blue wall finish, the blue between the wooden slats on the desk cubicles, the yellow and white wallpaper, the grey carpets, and the grey wall finish.
a healthy workspace was created by a numerous number of factors such as the maximum use of natural light, air ventilation, the incorporation od biophilia, adjustable desks and chairs, and a comfortable breakout area.
