DONER RESTAURANT
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Create: a complete design solution for a new food franchise.
Background: The customer is of Turkish-German descent and is dedicated to introducing authentic Döner kebab cuisine to South Africa.
Servings include authentic Turkish kebabs, German Döner kebabs, and grilled and neatly cut vertical meat skewers. Served in a pita or wrap with salad, vegetables, and sauces. Delicious and healthier than normal quick food. Quality ingredients and equipment will be used.

DESIGN SOLUTION
Spin and Spice introduces a dynamic fusion of Turkish-German culinary traditions in a South African setting, redefining fast food with a focus on health and authenticity. Our interior design seamlessly blends aesthetics and purpose, capturing chic and inviting trends. Inspired by Turkish, German, and South African sensibilities, our vision combines contemporary aesthetics with textured nuances. We prioritize equilibrium, maintaining simplicity amid bold colors and patterns, creating a tranquil yet stimulating atmosphere. Yellow, symbolizing the celebrated trio of cultures, takes a focal role against stone, metal, and wood elements, complemented by mid-toned melawood and urban-themed lighting fixtures. African patterns subtly add a local touch, and our franchise name, Spin and Spice, becomes a design language with dynamic curvaceous patterns. Wood, emphasized for its luxury, aligns with our commitment to a premium experience. Beyond visual appeal, our space cultivates sensations of hunger, joy, and community, aiming to elevate every dining experience into an unforgettable memory.
