DESIGN SOLUTION
The final design solution for this project creates a safe space for the orphaned baby Rhino. The area is made up of a number of spaces including, four stockades/ pens for the young baby Rhino and an ICU unit, which are connected to a playpen where the Rhino can play and wallow in the small water hole. There is also a kitchen for mixing the Rhino foods and formulas. Connected to the kitchen are two bathrooms for the staff and Keepers to make use of. There is also a barn which is used to store things like hay. All of the spaces listed above are enclosed in a large electric fence that creates a large area for the bigger orphans to roam until they eventually make their way back into the wild.
